Her Campus, a global community and website created for collegiate women, has honoured our very own Keshia Gray, Associate Director of Undergraduate Program Services and Acting Director of Student & Enrolment Services!

Be sure to read their full-length profile of her, “The Face of Schulich” in which Keshia shares details about her favourite parts of her job and the career she would have pursued if she weren’t working in higher education (Can you guess??). She also drops some important advice about owning your own successes and failures.

The writer of the piece, Schulich undergrad Nazia Zaman (iBBA candidate, 2016) heads up the newly-launched York chapter of Her Campus with fellow Schulich student May Godo (iBBA Candidate, 2016).

Written entirely by a team of over 7000 contributors (wow!) including some of world’s top college journalists, HerCampus.com features national and local content from 290+ different campuses in seven countries. It champions cool products, programming, tools, stories, articles and events to fulfill its mission of serving college women. Part of that mission includes spotlighting amazing leaders – like Keshia!

[box]“When asked what students mean to Keshia, she seemed to be at a loss for words. ‘They are amazing, that’s why it’s so easy to spend all of my Sunday at orientation with them.’ To her, students bring hope and optimism, and to simply help them through their highs and lows makes her job worthwhile.”[/box]

We know Keshia to be an inspiring force here at Schulich. She cares deeply about the students, she works tirelessly in the UPU, and she’s just one of the all-around coolest, friendliest contributors to student success and services for our undergrads. If you see her today, give her some accolades because she deserves them.

Congratulations Keshia!
