Gain valuable coaching and preparation in the case method with the i/BBA Case Competition Preparation Program (i/BBA-CCPP)

You’ve probably heard that case competitions are a lot of fun. It’s true; they give you a chance to think critically, grow your teamwork and leadership skills, and meet students from other schools.

If you’re interested in representing Schulich in case competitions, or simply want to do a better job presenting your ideas in class or at work, check out the i/BBA-CCPP.

What is the i/BBA Case Competition Preparation Program (i/BBA-CCPP)?

The i/BBA-CCPP is a course that runs throughout the term to support undergrads who want to compete in case competitions, or simply learn more about how to approach cases. The purpose of this program is to help you learn how to structure your case competition submission(s) and how to present the material effectively. The i/BBA-CCPP is run by Schulich Professor Jane-Michèle Clark and supported by MBA students through the help of the Graduate Business Council and the MBA Case Club.

In a nutshell, the i/BBA-CPP…

  • Is a free eight-week course that culminates with an in-house Case Cup Competition. The competition will be open to all SSB undergrads, but the course will give program participants a huge competitive advantage
  • Teaches you how to approach cases and gives you templates and other templates to use
  • Provides lots of opportunities for you to practice in front of an audience and get coached by profs and MBA students with lots of case experience
  • Equips you to qualify for Schulich funding for case competitions

There will be two courses offered in the upcoming year, one starting on October 5, 2018 and the other starting on January 12, 2019.

I’m interested! What do I do next?
