SERVICE OPERATIONS –  (OMIS 4300 3.00)

Service Operations is the study of the processing of customers and their information and possessions, by the most effective means. This course is about designing and implementing innovative service processes that respond effectively to customer requirements in business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) situations. This course draws on cases from real world organizations to demonstrate the problems and opportunities found in rapidly changing industries such as financial services, international consulting, hospitality and health care.

Who should take this course?  Anyone interested in building world class organizations that give outstanding service to their customers and key stakeholders both in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.  This is a “must have” course for anyone interested in marketing, operations, e-commerce, IT, healthcare, financial services and consulting.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS: This course is open to both 3rd and 4th year BBA students – (cat:# T32G01).
