Some of you may have attended the Specialized Lunch & Learn in September where you were introduced to Schulich’s three specialized 1-year Master’s programs: Master of Accounting, Master of Finance and Master of Business Analytics. There was a lot of buzz around the Master of Finance and we wanted to make sure you were aware of the pre-requisite course that is mandatory for admissions.

If you’re interested in the Master of Finance you must take one full-year of university level Calculus. I repeat, one FULL-year. If you are wondering which courses will meet the criteria here at York, Captain Calculus has confirmed that ECON 1530 & 1540, MATH 1530 & 1540, MATH 1300 & MATH 1310 or MATH 1550 will suffice. Other courses that you should also take include Economics and Statistics.

You don’t want to miss out on the next BIG EVENT!  Register for Experience Schulich, our upcoming Open House on November 30th to learn more about the Master of Finance. Meet alumni, faculty, and the Admissions team.

Should you have any questions about MF requirements, or Experience Schulich, please contact Emily Song, Recruitment & Communication Coordinator by email at esong@schulich.yorku.ca.
