Welcome back undergrads and a special welcome to our incoming Class of 2019!

The start of term comes with mixed emotions as we can’t believe the Summer break is over and elated to see familiar faces again. The 2015-2016 academic year has already started off with a bang as we welcome a new set of leaders to the Schulich Community. To continue with the positive spirit and success of Schulich Frosh Week, here are a few #SeptemberShoutouts.

  • Shout out to the 2019s for making it thorough the most “firsts” of any incoming class. You are the first to:
    • complete a video interview for admission;
    • participate in a 7-day Frosh;
    • experience the new MGMT 1050 curriculum;
    • never know where the UPU used to be located;
    • have a “Savage of the Year” Award.

We look forward to you making many more firsts as you begin your journey at Schulich.

  • Shout out to the amazing upper years who welcomed the 2019s with style and enthusiasm. They are lucky to have you as mentors and we hope you continue to share your experiences. Special mention to our Co-Chairs Natalie P. and Jessica V-M. for an outstanding Frosh Week. Execs and Leaders, we thank you.
  • Shout out to the exchange students visiting us from around the globe. We hope that your time in Toronto, Canada is everything you expected and more. Perhaps one day you will officially join the Schulich community as a graduate student 🙂
  • Shout out to the 2018s who made it through first year. Second year is a time of decisions as you think about specializations, where to go on exchange, and honing in on your personal brand. Don’t forget we’re behind you and encourage you to take advantage of the support services available to you.
  • Shout out to the 2017s. Just because. Third year is sorta that in between year. So close but yet so far. Many are looking forward to exchange, internship opportunities and you are finally allowed to take the courses in the areas you want. Third year = pretty good year.
  • Shout out to the 2016s as they begin their last year with us. You are in the home stretch. Keep calm and finish strong (and don’t forget to enjoy these moments).

Remember the Undergraduate Programs Unit (UPU) is here to support you in reaching your goals. Visit us in W263K for drop-in advising all-day everyday until September 24th.
