The Experiential Education (EE) Symposium is an important annual event designed to showcase experiential education at York and celebrate the achievements of students and faculty who have participated in EE. Experiential Education refers to learning through doing whereby students gain credit through experience. Several of you have likely taken experiential education courses whether that be through work placements or gaining course credit through the participation in case competitions, among other opportunities.
This multi-disciplinary, annual event will be held on January 21 and January 22, 2020.
Applications are currently being accepted for undergraduate students who are interested in sharing their EE experience with the York community. Students will learn how to design and present a professional academic poster, receive a signed certificate of participation, and have a chance to win a $100 YU-Card.
Students will have the opportunity to present their poster at the EE Symposium to their peers, faculty, and staff while also interacting with Learning Commons partners who will be on hand to provide resources and helpful advice on making the most of an EE experience.
