Export Development Canada (EDC) is excited to announce the launch of our scholarship program for the 2024/25 academic year on November 20th, 2023. Applications will be accepted until March 1st, 2024. As part of our Youth Education Program, EDC will be offering a total of 27 scholarships valued at $5,000 each to Canadian post-secondary students. The 2024/25 scholarship program offers the following awards:

  • 20 International Business Scholarships intended for students pursuing studies in International Business, or other fields related to EDC’s work.
  • One of each of the following Community Leader scholarships intended for students representing the next generation of community champions from a diversity of backgrounds:
    • EDC Black Community Leader Scholarship
    • EDC Indigenous Community Leader Scholarship
    • EDC 2SLGBTQI+ Community Leader Scholarship
    • EDC DiversABILITY Community Leader Scholarship
    • EDC Latin+ Community Leader Scholarship
    • EDC Future Leader Scholarship
    • EDC Ukrainian Empowerment Scholarship
