Whether you’re settling into a heavier Summer course load than usual, or preparing to start classes remotely in the Fall, there are lots of ways you can boost your preparedness, mental and physical health during COVID-19! 

A few of the great resources offered are highlighted below, so be sure to take advantage of these services from the Schulich and YorkU community. 

1. E-Learning at YorkU

Learning Skills Services has a comprehensive e-learning guide which we highly recommend you review in full.

The Student Guide to eLearning at York is a starter video module that will get you set up with advice, resources and information about what to expect in your online courses. Learn tips to be a successful online learner.

2. Netiquette (Online Etiquette) 

It’s the most relevant portmanteau of 2020: netiquette. This guide will introduce you thoroughly to online etiquette at York University and your responsibilities as a student.

3. COVID-19 Mental Health Resources

A friendly reminder to familiarize yourself with, and access a variety of mental health supports available to students via your campus and community.

4. Join the Conversation: COVID-19 Community Town Hall

President Rhonda Lenton and the senior leadership at York University will host a community COVID-19 Virtual Town Hall on Monday, June 1 at 2:30pm EDT. Plan to tune in!

5. COVID-19 Financial Assistance 

Reminder: May 31, 2020 is the deadline to apply for the York University emergency bursaries for current undergraduate students. Submit your application if you had unanticipated financial need during the period of March 1 to April 30, 2020.
