Every month the Undergraduate Programs Unit will highlight an Ambassador(s) that has contributed to the Schulich and York Community by demonstrating leadership, professionalism and/or outstanding achievement.  Congratulations to Alac Kim, iBBA ’14, our Ambassador of the Month for December:

We don’t know where he finds the time, but Alac Kim, iBBA ’14 seems to always be available to represent the student body and do what he can to improve the student experience. As the Internal Director for the UBC, Alac’s responsibilities include overseeing student clubs and budgets and serving as a student voice on the BBA/iBBA Committee. Alac is also one of the first to volunteer for new initiatives that he believes is important to the student body. Whether it’s giving his voice to the Schulich supplementary application or being a member of the Ambassador Task Force, Alac finds a way to let the students’ voice be heard.

This year he has spearheaded the creation of a new tutoring service for Schulich students – Schumon, launched SCHUBE (Schulich Book Exchange) and developed other initiatives as part of the Undergraduate Strategy Committee. Alac has demonstrated his commitment to the School and his motivation to continuously improve the student experience. He continues to contribute countless hours to the betterment of students and building relationships with administration and as a result Alac is this year’s recipient of the MBA Class of 2007 Ambassador Award ($500).

Congratulations Alac! Thank you for your dedication to the Community.
