YorkU Counselling Services
Students can access confidential single session/crisis and/or emergency support by calling 416-736-5297. The telephone line is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Mental Health Steering Committee
The YorkU Mental Health Steering committee makes it easy to stay informed and involved! The website is an important bookmark and has useful immediate references, especially in the event that you, or someone you know needs help right now.
Wellness Together Canada Portal
This mental health portal provides free online resources, tools, apps and connections to trained volunteers and qualified mental health professionals when needed.
Check out student recreation and fitness programs. During the current campus closure, the centre is offering virtual fitness classes via Zoom all month. Check the schedule here!
BounceBack is a guided self-help tool managed by the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), with online videos and phone coaching support.
Good2Talk is a free, confidential and anonymous helpline for people aged 17-25, where you can access professional counseling and referrals in support of mental health, recovery and well-being. The helpline is available to all young people in Ontario, 24 hours a day.
Residents may also access the Ontario General Mental Health Helpline, available via telephone, e-mail and live web chat. All details are available on the Province of Ontario Mental Health Support webpage.
