York University continues to adhere to the guidelines imposed by the Province and the City to curtail the spread of COVID.  At Schulich our primary objective is to protect the health and safety of our community members in these uncertain times. 

Here are some updates and reminders about the current status of operations at the Schulich School, at this point in a fluid situation. 

  • The Schulich School is closed and nearly all classes for the Fall Term are being delivered remotely. Planning is underway for the Winter Term.
  • During the Fall term, Schulich is not able to accommodate students in the Schulich Building seeking suitable study space. However, York University has identified dedicated spaces on campus that are available for study purposes.  These spaces are reserved for those who do have classes on campus this term or live on campus and require access to some quiet study space. 
  • York University is opening some of the libraries for study purposes.  Please note that the Bronfman Library is not on this list- see below for the libraries that are included. 

The Library will start a staged approach to opening up Study Spaces.  You can book spaces via an online seating reservation system.  The link below from York University Libraries provides information on where you can register:

Available: from September 21, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Scott Library, 2nd Floor
Available: from October 1, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Steacie Science & Engineering Library
Available: from October 13, Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Frost Library
Available: from October 15, Monday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
