With Academic Orientation behind us, today marks the first day of Fall term classes. Check out the list below for some handy links to information discussed in yesterday’s Academic Orientation. And remember – if you’re unsure of anything, you can always come to drop in advising in the UPU (W263) which will run Monday – Friday until September 15th. Booked appointments will resume on Monday, September 18th.
Staying in Touch
- Checking your email regularly is very important. You can check it via your MySchulich portal, and within your Schulich email account, you can also opt to forward your @schulich.yorku.ca email to another personal account, if you’d prefer.
- You can download the Lotus Notes Traveler app onto your smartphone for easy access to your Schulich email on the go! Instructions for how to do so are located within the Students FAQ which you will find under “Useful Links” in your MySchulich portal.
Getting Support When You Need It
- New to university and need help adjusting, contact Counselling Services.
- If you’re looking to get registered with Disability Services, this article from the Schulich School of Business explains the process.
- Getting academic guidance is easy at Schulich – just book an appointment when it’s convenient for you via our 1-1 online booking system.
- Need help with time management or presentation skills? Check out the workshops offered by York’s Learning Skills department.
- Finally, if you want to get a head start on research for the fall semester, visit the Bronfman Librarian Profile page to find the librarian for your program area.
